Many of my coworkers have been vaccinated using the AstraZeneca vaccine developed in the UK.

I dont know how effective it is, if at all, but half of them had to stay home due to high fever and muscle ache. One managed to come to the office, but after a couple of hours passed out and had to be taken to the hospital. Others were feeling drowsy and in need of sleep.

They are supposed to get another shot in a couple of months and the ones who live alone are planning to spend that night with friends or relatives, because many couldn't even move.

Seriously, wtf.

That's the vaccine they stopped giving in a few countries. It's nuts.

shows that the vaccine works. Your bodies immune system has been primed to attack and destroy the proteins which are unique to the virus.

Today the UMA will make an statement about the AstraZeneca vaccine, as apparently it is linked to cases of thrombosis.

Afaik other vaccines do not have as many side effects as this one does, for instance, a friend abroad got his Sputnik jabs and barely had a headache after each shot.

wish I knew more about medicine. My hunch is that having covid or even the flu puts a person at risk of multiple harmful conditions.

Now only those over 60 will receive AstraZeneca shots, as the younger the person is, the worse the side effects will be. One of our colleages has not been able to be back at the office yet.
