I'm torn on this one, could be fake could be real. What I don't understand is how whacking the mobile phone out of gavin's hand would've cut the feed, that doesn't happen, it would've carried on streaming but facing the floor.
Also look - Gavin is either a dickhead in how he treated Ryan live on air, or it is a fake scenario so they can wriggle out of streaming (maybe the marathon?) - so in either case it's not a great look.
At first I thought it was real I will admit, but upon a second inspection... having the live stream app for the phone was convenient, and I feel like if it was real Gavin would not have left in the extra hour of time. I think that was to trick everyone. I think it would have went exactly like the episode where Ryan had his kid, Gavin continued to show for a little bit after and addressed the situation.
Honestly I like these bits. They are pretty believable sometimes and I've never seen another show that pulls it off quite as well, I like Ryan though. I really didnt like the shows Gavin did on his own when Ryan didn't show up two years ago. My favorite episode of goml was the one preceding that little stint where Ryan was holding Gavin hostage.
I think living in NYC and being a normal person being told to wear a mask and not go anywhere or get an ineffective vaccine by low IQ morons would piss anyone off.
