My gym is run by a retired cop, I train with them weekly, and they're good people, but no matter my friendship will I ever be cut slack when it's a toss up between them doing their job or cutting me slack and potentially losing the pension and college fund for their kids. Yeah, I'm not with you there. The problem the people like Gavin have i, the stereotyping of cops. We have over $1 billion in damages to public and private property from fags who are angry at people stereotyping blacks. Then they go and stereotype the cops....and want to attack kill them indiscriminately. That's why people like him and myself support the shit out of them. I have a lot of family members who are cops. Almost all of them have saved more lives than I ever will in 10 lifetimes. People want to look at the bad things committed by cops. How many bad things are committed by the every day citizen? I guarantee you it's exponential more than the bad things that cops do. And who has to clean up after those citizens like a fucking janitor? Not me or you. The cops.

I'm not OP but I think he was just saying that even though I agree it's "fuck the police's BOSS" they still follow orders and are willing to violate the constitution because they don't want to get fired. They have to be willing to stand up against unconstitutional orders from their superiors and politicians, even if it will cost them. I've got a lot of friends who are cops, and some family as well. I'm not anti cop, i said that expressly, and they do get a raw deal, but their boss determines their next pay raise or if they get fired and lose their pension. And when it is between doing what their boss says and your friendship you're assed out.

Not really fair to assume just because he's your friend you deserve some sort of get-out-of-jail free card. If he walks into your work and says "aww come on man, I can't get a 50% discount? I know you're not the boss but you're just going to follow orders?" Do you take a stand and quit your job the first time your boss asks you to do something you don't agree with? Is it THAT easy to find a new career when you have a mortgage and kids? World doesn't work like that.
