I have been telling them that for YEARS. They do not realize that when the government pays for your healthcare, they own your body. If they pass a law for "your health and safety", you have no leg to stand on because your health is their responsibility now.
Same. I live in Kentucky, so nobody really cares about masks, but when I travel or am in the suburbs for some reason, the karens come out of the woodwork acting like I am a terrorist for breathing. I stopped wearing masks near the end of last summer. I carry one with me and I will usually put it on if asked because I am not trying to be part of some viral video and lose my job/home, but I am going to make them ask me to put it on, I am not automatically putting on a burka every time I leave my house. Also, I will only respond to an actual employee asking me to put on my mask and depending on how much I need what they are selling, I will sometimes just drop whatever I am holding or leave my cart in the middle of the aisle and walk out. They can spend the next 20 minutes putting the shit back on the shelves and throwing away the meat instead of selling it to me.
