The show will definitely be lacking with Ryan gone. I found Ryan really funny.
He can be, the cgi was very good. It's too bad he didnt look into it earlier like Gav suggested. But he really fucked things up on a weekly basis. He was incapable of accepting blame.
In the end i imo his cons outweigh the pros.
Itd be nice if gav would have put the money into a real producer like cumia's, so ryan could had honed his craft, but in the end ryan is a quitter. Its hard to respect that versus getting fired.
I think Gavin actually made a huge investment in Ryan because he saw his talent, but in the end Ryan was unable to make the best out of this opportunity, after all these years he keeps making up shitty excuses instead of learning what "accountability" is. Also, Gavin is right saying that Ryan must separate personal life from work; at work he is an employee and he is supposed to do what the boss tells him to do, not to discuss matters with him as if they were equals.
I actually think Ryan boycotts himself unconsciously and would benefit from seeing a therapist to work on that, it probably has much to do with his upbringing. Sometimes the gym doesnt do the trick, sp if he is on 'roids (i hope he isnt).
Gavin is definitely not the nicest guy on earth, but every now and then we got to see he really loves Ryan like family, he was giving some grandpa vibes when Ryan announced he was going to be a father. Even when he "fired" Ryan back when it was freespeech.tv you could see he was mad af because he could see what happened coming and had even tried to talk Ryan out of that relationship.
Even if they dont work together anymore, I hope their friendship continues to grow. I wish them both the best.
Edit: I see why Ryan quit, Gavin took it very far this time and it maybe the stroke that broke the camel's back. However, that doesnt mean that Ryan is free of "guilt".
Well said fren.
I feel like ryan's childish deflection of blame was the straw that broke the camels back for gavin.
He snapped and was prodding ryan to fight consciously or not. I want to know what happened after ryan slapped the camera out of gav's hand.
Fuck now we wont find out what really happened until Friday. Im pissed.
No show tomorrow?
Did i miss that?
We will find out tomorrow night
Itd be interesting if gav could somehow lure josh lekach to replace ryan.
Bad fit, he's just a mini Gavin copy cat. I hate to say it, but Ryan isn't replaceable. What made the show great is the dynamic of those two specific individuals with their specific life stories. This is a bad move all around, Gavin should apologize for being a cunt, and Ryan should admit his mistakes and lay out an action plan on improving.
It won't happen, due to egos on both sides, too bad really, the show was getting better and better, so was Ryan, he was actually improving.
Ill give credit where its do and ryan had really gotten funnier in the last month but i cant stand his constant mistakes and excuses.
Wasnt he planning on moving ryan out to where ever gav ended up moving to?
Yup, like I said, not replaceable. An action plan on how to improve works. An action plan on being slightly less cunty works too.
Right now egos are clashing, both are right and both are wrong. Riding Ryan's ass is only funny when they are in it together. Gavin seriously getting mad and mean and Ryan seriously getting butt hurt is not funny.
I still don’t believe it. It’s a bit for sure.
Yeah, this could be another haircutter machine bit
I love Ryan, but he is still on square one when it comes to accountability and actually trying to find solutions to problems rather than making up shitty excuses.
Idk, I totally understand why he quit, however, Gavin is right, he quit his job when he has a family to support. I got and still too much shit at my job, yet I have not quitted because I need the money to support my fam and pay off debt. It has been years I havent been on holidays and I havent even been able of thinking about moving out because of my responsibilities.
When I reached rock bottom I found Gavin's show accidentally on YouTube. I have followed most of his advice and I will be debt free in a month or two; I started boxing and soon got into Muay Thai and that shit and the people at the gym made me feel welcome for the first time in years and my health improved dramatically (no more diabetes, increased stamina...) not to mention that I dont need pills to sleep anymore; also, the show gave me strength not to give up and prove that I am stronger than any shitty boss and that I can fight back and overcome any obstacle in life. It also helped me realize that I must be true to myself without hesitation. I even picked up a new language to learn because it is something I am good at but felt I couldnt do anymore.
Following he ups and downs of the show has done more for me than the years I spent attending therapy.
I feel bad Ryan quit I understand his reasons, but Gavin gave him a great opportunity to grow, gave him great advice for life and treated him like family. As an orphan, I wished I had someone like the G-dog around when I was growing up showing me the right path, helping me reaching my full potential, and how no to give a f*ck about what others think or say about me, it would have saved me from many unpleasant situations.
I wonder if Ryan will sue Gavin after what happened in the last episode, as he'll have a hard time finding a job if all his resume is about working for Gavin at different platforms. That would be a total bitch move.
Watch the last 5 minutes of Compound Uncensored

Oh Gavin sayin major personnel changes.
