The show will definitely be lacking with Ryan gone. I found Ryan really funny.
He can be, the cgi was very good. It's too bad he didnt look into it earlier like Gav suggested. But he really fucked things up on a weekly basis. He was incapable of accepting blame.
In the end i imo his cons outweigh the pros.
Itd be nice if gav would have put the money into a real producer like cumia's, so ryan could had honed his craft, but in the end ryan is a quitter. Its hard to respect that versus getting fired.
I think Gavin actually made a huge investment in Ryan because he saw his talent, but in the end Ryan was unable to make the best out of this opportunity, after all these years he keeps making up shitty excuses instead of learning what "accountability" is. Also, Gavin is right saying that Ryan must separate personal life from work; at work he is an employee and he is supposed to do what the boss tells him to do, not to discuss matters with him as if they were equals.
I actually think Ryan boycotts himself unconsciously and would benefit from seeing a therapist to work on that, it probably has much to do with his upbringing. Sometimes the gym doesnt do the trick, sp if he is on 'roids (i hope he isnt).
Gavin is definitely not the nicest guy on earth, but every now and then we got to see he really loves Ryan like family, he was giving some grandpa vibes when Ryan announced he was going to be a father. Even when he "fired" Ryan back when it was freespeech.tv you could see he was mad af because he could see what happened coming and had even tried to talk Ryan out of that relationship.
Even if they dont work together anymore, I hope their friendship continues to grow. I wish them both the best.
Edit: I see why Ryan quit, Gavin took it very far this time and it maybe the stroke that broke the camel's back. However, that doesnt mean that Ryan is free of "guilt".
Well said fren.
I feel like ryan's childish deflection of blame was the straw that broke the camels back for gavin.
He snapped and was prodding ryan to fight consciously or not. I want to know what happened after ryan slapped the camera out of gav's hand.
