"Until then we must abandon all attempts to convince the stupid person."
From the beginning of this mass madness I watched those not affected by the psychosis fall into the trap of the same tunnel vision as those affected. So many good scientists, good doctors, and smart people wasted valuable time and energy with trying to confront the stupid with facts and logic, over and over again, with absolutely zero effect.
This mass psychosis can only be fought aggressively, and head-on. It is the leaders, the superspreaders of fear and hatred we must attack. Journalists and politicians need to be exposed as vulnerable, hated, and weak by a significant and strong part of the people. Only this might cast doubt in the minds of the psychotic mob. Of course this is a hard and risky thing to achieve. But this is where we're at. We all have to abandon our old safe and comfortable way of life.
