This is no different that that cute little guy with down syndrome that we all know in some form or another who is in his teens or early 20's and comes up to you at church or whatever and says "I'M AN ASTRONAUT!"

"Well, Sure you are buddy!" We say out of kindness because "kindness" lol.

That's what is going on here. We all know that this "guy in a Maserati" never happened, But society is screaming at us to feed into the delusions of mentally ill gay men as-if they are kids with downs.

It is a mental illness (unless the DSM has changed their minds on that one, again) so that's actually a fairly apt comparison.
