I love baiting them into an argument. You make one valid point and they always ask for your sources like it’s some kind of book report. Also, they love writing long essays in response to change your mind after you write a short snarky, factual statement. Anyway just wanted to share.

Usually respond to their long winded diatribes with a TLDR. It makes them so mad. They must’ve worked so hard on the response.
I did that back when I was on Reddit and just imagined them throwing their cellphone on the floor in a fit of rage.
I really wonder if anyone's ever broken their screen over something I've written.
I can get too caught up and forget to keep it short. It’s hard with the whole covid face mask issue to not lay it out for them. Even when you post the sources they dig their heels in harder. I see it as more of a way to get the debate out in the open for someone else to see who might come across the thread later. I don’t expect to change the mind of anyone arguing with me that’s for sure. You never know who is on the fence that your points might sway.
I can’t help it either. They get so triggered if you post something from a site like the EVIL right wing nut Daily Caller. I dread reading through my inbox at times but it’s good practice for debating.
The ol' Reddit inbox, what a ride. How many death threats did you get during your time there? I got at least five or six, usually from new accounts with no public posts.
I'm glad I triggered a few jackasses into making brand new accounts so they could tell me they were gonna find me and kill me. It's been like five years now and I'm still waiting for those failures to come a'knockin.
