lol, you are right this smells fishy, the large sum of cash, his job is never mentioned, the recording, him wanting to send money to relatives in a turd world country... sounds staged or perhaps if we dive deeper, we may find out this guy is some cartel member, which would explain the large sum of savings and might reveal a rival hombre of his got wind of him moving his money around... who knows
