It seems to have a very poor UI. And posts look to be nothing more than a few words or a sentence.

Trump did not pardon Stone. He commuted his sentence. If he had pardoned him then Roger would not be able to plead the 5th and refuse to answer questions if called before a grand jury. By commuting his sentence Stone retains his right to not self incriminate.

As I understand grand jury rules, prosecutors can grant Stone immunity from prosecution and compel Stone to talk. Which, again, opens Trump up to great risk. If Stone has something on Trump, then Trump could face obstruction of justice for knowingly letting Roger off the hook.
