Gavin is dumb. Confirmed. Basically, everything he said about The Blank Slate on today's show (1/21) is completely the opposite of what's true. Pinker argues that indeed biology is real and nature is a powerful force shaping humans, much more so than the environment/family/society, etc. So when Gavin said Pinker was 90/10 on nurture vs nature -- bullshit. Pinker clearly states both have an affect but leans towards NATURE being the bigger influence and to deny the evolutionary reality of that, which so many leftists tend to do these days, is wrong. Pinker is basically on the same page as Charles Murray's The Bell Curve.

Yep. And this is the second time in the week Gav misrepresented a book he promoted. The other one was Republican Party Animal by David Cole. He called him a Holocaust denier who claimed there were no gas chambers -- also bullshit. I read that book and Cole spends time explicitly detailing where and when the gas chambers were used. He is a revisionist in as much as he debunks a lot of myths and purported history, but to call him a denier is flat out wrong. I think Gavin read these books years ago and just has such a bad memory about some things, but he doesn't spend a minute just to refresh before talking on camera? Strange.
