Guess it depends on how tight you like to keep your shit trimmed and how quickly your facial hair grows. I'm fine with letting it go a couple of days before I trim and shave around the edges to line it up. But yea, it can be pretty quick to just bic it. They barely give you 3 minutes to shave in boot camp, I hear.
