I have had a vacation in Virginia planned since before Covid but now I’m wondering if it’s gonna be too gay to even bother going. VA has “mask laws” and while I’m coming from Ohio which also has mask laws, no one really enforces them here. You can pretty much do most things with nary more than an evil glare from the occasional double masker.

I’m not wearing a goddamn mask and you can’t just call around and ask this kinda thing, so.... What’s the vibe in VA?

I’m a 30 y/o female musician so every single person in my social circle is a raving liberal lunatic. I have a rental car lined up, and I plan on driving in on Wednesday morning, finding somewhere to park, then walking to the action and leaving before BLM starts throwing piss bottles.

Does anyone have any logistical suggestions on how/where to park the rental?
