These patterns are actually predictable for anyone with the proper training. It does not mean that your environment marks your destiny, but it definitely explains why the cycle of poverty is hard to break from a psychological perspective. Sometimes there is a reason why you are more likely to make certain choices. Growing up without a proper male figure + the media's promotion of the "get rich or die tryin" thug lifestyle didnt help her making the right choices in spite of being given all the tools. When I watched AIU's videos it was obvious her family thought she was capable of achieving her goals but that she fucked up by hanging out with the wrong people.
A friend is a social worker and told me there are actual patterns for this kind of profile.
