I live in Canada and have heard of several people in my country donating to Black Lives Matter (BLM), so I decided to check it out over at https://blacklivesmatter.com/.

When you click on the big "donate" button, it simply asks for a credit card and no address. What's more, there's a curious redirect to "actblue.com". This really peaked my interest because "actblue" sounds like it has to be affiliated with the Democrat party. So I looked into what actblue is (although I already had a pretty good idea).

What I found confirmed my suspicions. Actblue is literally a PAC for the DNC. So I googled around to find their expenditures and was unsuprised again. Here are the top 10:

1 Biden for President $194,848,705

2 Bernie 2020 $186,780,034

3 Warren for President $93,484,426

4 Pete for America $78,469,082

5 Democratic Congressional Campaign Cmte $64,786,693

6 Amy for America $43,167,720

7 Democratic National Cmte $42,499,784

8 Democratic Senatorial Campaign Cmte $40,153,894

9 Amy McGrath for Senate $39,673,737

10 Friends of Andrew Yang $31,705,801

Not only is it alarming that literally all of the donations to BLM are going to the DNC and none are going to black communities, this is foreign election interference if I have ever seen it. Foreign entities of complete unknown origin can donate to American political campaigns through BLM. This can't be legal, right?

So I did some more googling and I found this, directly from the FEC:

Campaigns may not solicit or accept contributions from foreign nationals. Federal law prohibits contributions, donations, expenditures and disbursements solicited, directed, received or made directly or indirectly by or from foreign nationals in connection with any election — federal, state or local. This prohibition includes contributions or donations made to political committees and building funds and to make electioneering communications.

So, this is illegal. It's blatantly illegal, yet I haven't heard this mentioned in the media or anywhere. For a country that just spent 4 years telling the entire world that their President was in the back pocket of foreign nationals, this is pretty insane.
