I was listening to the very beginning of the marathon versus watching it... and noticed that "Joe" has the same speech timing and mannerisms as Ryan. He was using the studio software to create a character, which is why Gavin was willing to call him a "bitch," etc.

Just listen to that part of the show and don't watch it- and it is very Ryan like making the same joke several times. Even how his body movements are similar tipped me off. If I'm wrong, put them both in the same room.

Also, Ryan's acting at the "coincidental" meeting was cringe-worthy.
