Ecuadorian here, he have iguanas everywhere too. In fact, we have a city square in the downtown of our largest city, famous for iguanas.

¡Hola! Spaniard here. In Valencia's (Venezuela) main square all tree branches are covered by iguanas. Venezuelans also eat iguana eggs.

I couldnt find images of Valencia, but I did find images of the iguanas in Caracas' Plaza Bolivar
