what if you are biologically incapable of empathy/ understanding someone else? (im not sure if psychopaths are capable of truly repenting)
My understanding is that people cant absolve themselves, they can only forgive others for their misdeeds and therefore be forgiven for theirs if they repent.
Enlightenment would raise you above your past actions and your future fears.
This world isnt paradise but I think the West is as close as mankind is ever going to get.
