- In your view, is violence core to the identity of the Proud Boys?
Violence is not even close to “core to the identity” of the Proud Boys. It is a drinking club based on the Knights of Columbus. The first real fight was after I was attacked by antifa radicals at NYU. I was pepper sprayed and club members were attacked. They fought back and won. After that, they began doing voluntary body guarding for conservative speakers. Ask Ann Coulter how many times Proud Boys have saved her from leftist violence.

The Guardian Angels are not violent. They are a reaction to NYC’s crime spike of the late 70s. Patently false. I have encouraged FIGHTING BACK. This is always a reaction to the violence of the far left. When you see clips where it appears I’m advocating violence, the part where people are being attacked and not fighting back has been edited out.
- Though you separated from the Proud Boys, you did found the group. Do you believe you bear any responsibility for the role of the group allegedly played in the attack on the Capitol?
First of all, hundreds of people stormed the Capitol. Many of them were also members of the Proud Boys. If those who stormed the Capitol were also members of the Knights of Columbus would you say the Knights of Columbus stormed the Capitol? Secondly, before January 6th, I made it very clear the whole thing was a bad idea and implored Proud Boys not to go. This has been well documented and is available to even remotely curious journalists.

Also, in your first email you talked about the “Fourth Degree.” This has been misconstrued as you need to go find antifa and beat them to get your fourth. - Some believe that your and the Proud Boys' use of irony and humor is a way to inoculate the group from criticism from people who take your most controversial statements seriously. How do you view the use of humor as a vehicle for politics?
Leftist media is so desperate for Nazis they willfully ignore jokes. When they’re told they’re taking a joke seriously, they scream, “He’s hiding behind the joke.” This is people such as you FORCING their narrative into places it doesn’t matter. In your original email you quoted me saying, “I can’t recommend violence enough.” This was from an interview with Alex Jones after I was attacked by NYU. The police were nowhere to be seen as a mob of antifa descended on us. I couldn’t see because of the pepper spray. We would have been severely injured if not killed. The thought he recognized a Capuchin from an earlier doc and said, “That’s my favorite monkey actress.” Jada Pinkett Smith had just put out her #OscarsSoWhite video where she claimed the Oscars avoid black actors and directors because of racism. Blacks are 14% of the population and get about 14% of the awards. Her allegation we live in a racist society is absurd and later, I said she was my favorite “monkey actress” SARCASTICALLY as a callback to combine her silly assertions with my son’s comment. For the record, Americans do not sit around and say, “Goddamnit, I really hate all dem monkey actresses like Jada Pinkett Smith - YEE HAW!”
3- You have no idea what my reaction to the “white supremacist trope White Genocide” is. There several things going on here. a) White supremacists insist the powerful (mostly Jews) want to eradicate them from this country. It’s an absurd notion I obviously don’t support. b) rational people on the right recognize that there appears to be a double standard with white males in this country, particularly conservatives. Look at how the Covington Catholic school boys were treated. Look at how Ethan is treated. Look at this interview and these biased questions. That is not white genocide, however. c) while discussing A and B I acknowledged that there is White Genocide happening right now in South Africa.
